Transitional cell cancer

Cancers occur in the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses, filling them and destroy the skull base, with next intracranial spread. Sino-paranasal cancers  rarely metastasize (up to 10%). These factors contribute to the successful surgical treatment of malignant epithelial tumors (cancers) of the skull base. Unlike these differentiated cancers, nondifferentiated cancers are less sensitive to chemotherapy.
